Go Noodles House @ Jaya One (PJ)

This little shop is a gem if you love pork slices!

I love not only their food but their professionalism as well. The waiters are efficient, clean (they wear hygiene mouth protector), and the food arrive within 5-10mins time.

I always thought of this shop whenever I am going to Jaya one shopping mall. Sometimes I go to Jaya one mall just to eat their pork slices. Yes, it's really that nice.

Their other signature dish is the home made spicy soup. Which is really very very very spicy. Not everyone can finish their bowl of spicy soup based bowl. If you don't believe me. Try it out yourself. (Refer to the picture below)

I ordered their ala carte pork ball soup and add on Beef balls & pork slices for additional few ringgits. The pork slices are very supple, soft, juicy and somewhat long. Pork Balls are second best there. The beef balls are rather disappointing though. I will have to remind myself not to order this dish.

I was told the milk tea was very very superb. But I didn't order one myself. Not in the mood for milk tea today. I ordered mineral water instead. The bill came out to be pretty reasonable price.

Good Food @ Jaya Shopping Centre (PJ)

Whenever I go to Jaya Shopping Centre, I am there for the TGV cinema. Then usually I will head to Good Food & co for a nice comfort food.

I tried few of their dishes. very fusion style and they are delicious. My favorites are Shakshouka (even the side dish bread tasted so good.. I wish to just buy their bread!) and also the whole leg dish (awesome)!

The one that we have tried to day are shown below.

This is the Beef Salami Pasta. Awesome. But small portion. (RM17+)

Lamb Burger. This is not really up to our standard though. The Lamb patty is too salty to eat on it's own. Never order this (RM22+)

This is the Shakshouka (RM16+) I was raving about. I also add on a Merguez (beef mix with lamb) sausage (RM5+) to go with it. The bread is really good for a plain bread like this.

Summary:-

Food - 4/5 (for Shakshouka & Salami beef pasta)

Hygiene - 4/5

Service - 3/5 (Self service but food was rather quick within 10mins)

Piccadilly Restaurant @ Petaling Jaya

Looking for a casual dinner outing with cheap beers you can drink whole night? I would say Piccadilly is very much a very decent hang out place with friends' lepak session or fancy watching a football match with windy atmosphere? Just not to suck the air to deep because there is a drainage just underneath.. yeah... the only thing I didn't like about Picadilly..

The food is definately cheap with asian cuisine about RM6++, western cuisine RM10++ and snacks at RM3++. And we ordered Guiness Stout Tower Beer cost us only RM 55++!!! I remember forking out RM100++ at pub with air con!! I love all the food here because they are very decent but nothing to shout about. I would go there again because with RM10 I can have a very satisfying meals with friends and free parking too...

It's just a little dark at night I would recommend to go colect your car in group especially after hearing horrifying news about kidnapping, robbery etc!!

Look at how cheap their Beers get.... friends said they is some weird taste compared to normal beers at his last mouthful of it... I am not sure myself since I seldom drink... maybe you can let us know here?

Tom yam soup.. yummy... superb tasty and spicy

Guiness stout tower beer... 4 of us drink until tak boleh tahan

Deep fried chicken chop.. nice...

Marmite chicken rice.. very tasty they like this so much

Starters- Bruchettas RM9++ (delicious!! really appertising for us)

Spicy Beef Aglio Olio- RM24++ (very tasty although slightly oily also very appertising maybe it's the spicy taste it has.. )

Special Pasta of the year 2012- Roasted walnut and button mushrooms with herbs pesto pasta- RM24++Love their fresh mushrooms and the texture of the sauce and taste of herbs but it's really very oily that I couldn't manage to finish my dish =(



Then came the damage for two person lunching on a weekday.. RM76.45!! I would rate their food with a 4 out of 5. But price wise it's slightly on the high side more suitable for event outing..... never order their juices again.. sorry but just ain't worth the price.

Our 2pax koreal set lunch meal cost us only Rm20 with this much food~~

Steam egg (Lots of "fillings" itself inside the steam eggs.. thats why there are red and green dots from far.. very healthy on a weekday quick lunch =)

Kim Chi Stew with Pork - I love this!!

There are smoking and non-smoking area - although we don't smoke we still sit outside because I can't stand the heavy smoke smell on my clothing after meal hehe

Fun Taipei TeaCafe

Fun Taipei @ SS2

Wow finally went to try taiwanese Fun Taipei cafe at SS2 today after viewing some of the reviews on them. We ordered their noodles with oyster although reading a bad review on it that the writer want to puke after eating the oyster.. hehe.. we ordered it anyway because one doesn't give up until he gets the shits himself.. heard this saying before? =p

I personally quite like the taste of noodles oyster but it is slightly too salty compared to the "shi lin" plus the oyster did look out of shape! Tasted fine though.. just fine ya.... the set comes with fried tofu yum yum hot and crunchy and sourish vege not bad.....RM 11.5+

Second dish was the mince noddles which is quite big bowl seriously also set comes with vege and tofu, bitter soups!! this is a rather full set I was full after all these!! RM12+ The ambience were quiet and service were pretty satisfactory.

Most importantly I think this is a place more for hang out as they have all kind of bubble teas... I ordered Mint milky bubble tea.. special enough for me at RM3.5

Dae Jang Geum Korean BBQ 大長今

I know this place is famous for the expensive bill!!

Well I went there yesterday for a dear friend's farewell there were 11 of us and the total bill came out to be RM330++ only. I guess thats because we have a huge crowd and everything became cheap and the side dishes were refillable. We ordered quite alot.

We order a set of the BBQ plate consist of chicken, pork and seafood(RM150+)! Another plate of pancake there is 2 types, the non-spicy and the other is the kim chi pancake. I personally prefer the original pan cake(RM15++) there are sprouts in the pan cake too these tasted fine to me nothing to shout about though. I love the stew beef (RM50+) it's superb tasty, we also ordered 2 set of marinated BBQ chicken (RM25++) this piece of chicken was very well loved it seems it tasted unique to me too..other dishes ordered are soups 3 bowl of soups.. ala carte soups RM15++ each bowl..

Due to the large crowd we had, I had previously reserve by calling to them. We had a special room at the back of the restaurant where no one will pass by unless they purportedly walk in. Therefore we were having a hard time to call for waiter to refill the side dishes. They should fix a bell or something. The captain service were good but some of the waiters were not so cheerful or slow response though. Maybe it's already end of the day as we were having a fabulous dinner at 8pm. We can't help it but had another round of shower that night too if you know what I mean.. hehe

Food ratings: 4/5 will definately come back again!

Service ratings: 3/5 there are rooms to be improved.
